This has been sent to me by two of my friends recently. Apparently they thought it would be something I would appreciate. They, of course, thought correctly.
As the battle between the new Playstation and Nintendo game systems heats up for the holiday season, Nintendo comes with the following offering. In the tradition of the popular Mac vs PC commercials, it is a personification of a Playstation 3 and a Nintendo Wii. The commercial is simple, funny, gets the point across, and has a cute/wiggly/scantly-clad girl. In short: contender for best commercial ever.
If you have read anything about these two systems, you will pick up on the refferences. If not, you still have the visuals. Enjoy.

Regarding the woman on the left, what in the world did they tell her she was getting herself into?
"We want you in a commercial standing next to a blond babe in shorts and a bra, so that you will clearly be the undesirable one ... mainly because you're fat and unattractive."

haha, I've just had a total insight as to what it's like being a guy and having all my decisions made for me personified by the words: "I'm cheap and fun". rofl.

doc: You do realize that many other points were brought up other than the girl in the red bottoms being attractive, right? Sure, that point drove the message home, but you don't have to get all upity just because she turned you on. It's OK, really.

wait, wait, wait...The Wii is less expensive? Does anyone know how much it will cost?
wendy: Nintedo says the Wii (comming out Nov 19th) will sell for about $250. That is cheap only in comparison to PS3's near $600 price tag. The reason for the high PS3 price is that it includes Sony's very expensive next generation "Blue ray" high def DVD player. Sony is really banking on the PS3 bringing people on board with to Blue ray idea. Only time will tell.
Also, be aware that the Wii is some crazy stuff. No longer do you just sit idle and play games. Crazy good or crazy bad is up to you.

Great commercial! Me and BG plan on camping out for the Wii, and blog about it. I'm hoping we'll have videos of me being accosted by nerds, frat guys, and soccer moms as we bother them about their hobbies.
